Kansas Bank Note Company has been a leader in its field since 1906. While our core products have been in forms for financial institutions, product and technological evolution has taken us into many related products requiring security sensitive applications. We consider ourselves a service oriented "niche" provider of solutions to end user problems or challenges. Over the years, as historical products have evolved into commodities, we have moved out of them to more unique products, or we have tried to add further value to some of these commodities to try to "re-niche" them. As a result of this diversification, we have acquired OCR and bar code capabilities (as well as MICR) with most bar code symbologies and all conventional, as well as custom, mod numbering applications. We also produce custom personalized coupon books that extend into virtually any manufacturing and retailing business, including auto maintenance, loans, food supply, skiing, to name a few. We are also heavily into various types of security applications for gift certificates, checks and other products with a high degree of product sensitivity. We have extensive bindery and finishing capabilities in house, as well as hardware and software that allows us to personalize and mail individual pieces in very large quantities. We provide solutions to information problems; and we pride ourselves in finding solutions to unique needs.
